Master Tailors George and James ran the business together from 1873.
From Kelly's Directory 1889 James was no longer in the business thus when
George died in 1917 Charles was on war work at Barnstable building
concrete
boats and my father Ralph was in France with the Royal Artillary so from
Kelly's Directory 1919 Archibald was in at 101 High St .
The only Archibald I can trace is the grandson of George's elder brother
William Henry Prawl who moved to Swansea between 1851&1855.

A John Bicknell was a serge weaver in Crediton 17 Feb 1767,it seems
logical
that his son became a Tailor.(check further)
